Since 2019 I've been a Senior Web and Application Developer at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Most of my time there is spent building data driven features and tooling for the school's websites like Academic Profiles. A few of my other projects have been: building an automated user management system for our CMS, integrating our email marketing platform with Harvard's Person Data Service, and migrating our CDN from AWS to Pantheon.
I'm orignally from Los Altos, California a small town about 5 miles from Stanford University. In 2019 my partner Megan and I moved to Cambridge where she would be getting her MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management. When I started my job at Harvard, I decided to take advantage of their free tuition benefit and pursue a Master's in Software Engineering from the Extension School. When I'm not working or studying, I'm probably out on an adventure with my black lab Zerlina, cooking, or learning something on YouTube.
